David Spisak has consistently outperformed over his nearly 40 year automotive career. This culminated when the dealership he operated achieved $24.7 million dollars in net profit, 3% employee turnover, $26m in fixed GP and 8.3% net/sales - all industry bests and many of which still are records today. As an executive for AutoNation he received their top honor for the highest performance in the company after successfully turning around the worst performing region of the country in less than two years.
After his retail career he created and co-founded ReverseRisk which quickly became the #1 reporting solution in the industry by enabling dealers to achieve the highest performance in their stores. ReverseRisk was acquired by Reynolds and Reynolds in 2016 and is still the dominant reporting solution today in use in thousands of dealerships. He has since had multiple successful exits, serves on the board of multiple companies, is the creator of five new software solutions and is a highly sought after advisor/consultant by some of the top performing dealerships and technology solution providers in the country. He typically spends over 200 days a year on the road in dealerships, on the front line, to stay abreast of what is working right now, what dealers need and where the industry is headed.
He has also been the only non-dealer on Google’s Dealer Advisory Board because of his reputation as an operational expert, his expertise in digital marketing strategy and leveraging data to significantly improve associate, department and store performance.
He is a partner with Jay Abraham, the highest paid and most renowned marketing consultant in the world in a virtual training platform designed to allow retail automotive dealers to achieve exponential growth.
David has long been considered an industry expert on performance and data and has spoken to thousands of dealers about how to achieve sustainable success in any economy. He has spoken to over one hundred 20 Groups and is regularly featured in industry events to share best practices and insights from around the country. His combination of experience, in private and public cap retail dealerships, as a software solution creator, automotive data expert, entrepreneur, speaker and consultant makes him uniquely qualified to understand what dealerships must do today and in the future.
He is married and has 4 children.
