PETRA BREAKS GROUND ON NEW HOUSTON WORLD HEADQUARTERS
U.S. Automotive Aftermarket Chemical Company Doubles Business Revenue Three Times in Five Years
Petra Oil Company, a leading U.S. automotive aftermarket chemical company selling to professional installers, has broken ground on Phase I of its planned 65,000 square foot corporate campus in Northwest Houston. Petra purchased the land at 11085 Regency Green Drive and expects to complete and occupy Phase I of the planned Five Phase campus by January of 2016.
According to Arnold J. Gacita, Petra Oil President and CEO, the company’s 300 percent revenue growth over the past five years equates to doubling the company’s business revenue three times and results in the physical need for a significantly larger operations facility as it expands operations worldwide to Asia and Latin America.
“Petra’s products have been so well received in the global automotive aftermarket that since the company’s beginning in 2010, we’ve already outgrown three buildings,” said Gacita. “Petra’s new world headquarters will be a home able to keep pace with the company’s continued growth and success. As of today, Petra is providing products and services to more than 23 countries, and that number is increasing, on average, every month. Petra Oil was founded on the principle of manufacturing top quality automotive aftermarket products and marketing them to professional installers through truly innovative programs. In the five years since its founding, Petra has become recognized in the industry for unmatched service, excellent products and an ability to drive revenue for its professional installer customers.”
The Petra story is one of triumph in the midst of a challenging economy that has seen Petra’s competitors lose market share. Gacita says Petra’s ability to weather the economic storm and maintain its growth is due to its customer focus. According to Greg May, Owner of Waco, Texas based Greg May Honda, the number one U.S. Honda dealer to work for according to a recent ranking by Automotive News, “ In the past 12 months, our Petra sales revenue has reached $200,000. Petra is a huge boost to our gross and shop hours and gives our customers a wide variety of great products to help increase the life of their automobiles.”
