COVID-19 Statement

Dear Petra Family,

It is my prayer that all of you are well, safe and healthy.

Petra is open for business. We are producing, shipping, and working on new and innovative ideas. Open and moving forward as we know this too shall pass. We are preparing for what we believe, with God’s help, will be an unbelievable growth. Our business, as many of your businesses (depending on state & country) have been deemed “essential” as an automotive parts supplier. Meaning that our customers are open for business. Dealers, quick lube’s and repair shops, just to name a few are all part of the essential business, maintaining and keeping vehicles and truckers on the road. We pray that your business, in a safe and protective manner, following local and country guidelines, keep on going!

I have spoken, texted, messaged via WhatsApp or emailed with many of you. I believe physically and health wise we all are doing well. It’s now a little over 2 weeks since we started the battle against the virus and started in many places a shelter in place by state and county guidelines, with the exception of essential business (where applicable). Surely the shelter in place that we see today throughout the world is helping fight the spread of the virus. The world has not seen a pandemic like this since the Spanish Flu. What we are experiencing is new to all of us. Today we realize what’s important; what we should have always known and at times forget. It reminds us that God and Family are the most important things in our lives. Then our health, with God on our side and our family we can figure out the rest later. We are here for you and we will get through this together. We are here to help and support you, please let us know how we can better serve you.

In no way are we making light of the situation going on in the world today. We understand how everyone’s lives are affected. Sadly, and hopefully minimal, some lives have been tragically lost, as every life is valuable and important. Our hearts hurt with them. We understand the anxiety and concern is real and present. If you allow me to say this, although easier said than done, trust God, pray and let His peace transcend all understanding. He’s got this. As a result of this trying time, we have become better neighbors, better citizens and better people.

In summary, I just wanted to say we are thinking about you. We are here for you. We appreciate you. We will get through this together. We are praying for you.
